Police jeep escorting Delhi-Lahore bus overturns

A Punjab Police jeep escorting the Delhi-Lahore bus on its way to Pakistan overturned here today when a private car hit the vehicle, police said.

Police personnel travelling in the jeep escaped unhurt except the driver who was admitted to a hospital in a critical condition.

Around 42 passengers were on board the Delhi-Lahore bus, which continued with its journey towards the Wagah border uninterrupted, police said.
