Police officer killed, 2 others injured in accident

Assistant sub-inspector Manzoor Ahmad Khan died on the spot while two constables - Tawseef Ahmad and Parvez Ahmad - were injured when a mini-bus overturned near Chankhan locality of Sopore, 55 kms from here, late yesterday.

They said the injured policemen were hospitalised while the body of the officer was handed over to his next of kin for last rites.
