Faizabad police have recovered five religious statues made out of 'asht dhatu' worth more than Rs 5 crore in international market.
Police recovered one Lord Rama statue, one Lord Krishna statue and three others made from 'asht dhatu'. The statues, which are told to be centuries old made up of eight different metals, contains high level of religious sanctity.
These statues were stolen from Naval Kishore temple in Ayodhya last month, police said.
Police have arrested one Vikas Singh in the case.
