Police seize explosives from Maoist camp

The Vizag rural police today seized nine kit bags, cooked food along with explosives from a Maoist camp in the forest area near Kistavaram in the district.

Police stumbled upon this material during a routine combing operation, a senior official said.

However, we suspect that the ultras gave a slip on seeing the police, he said.

ASP (Operations) Babujee Attada said police have found the material at a Maoist camp.

However, police did not share details of the seized explosives.
