Police use to disperse protesting students

Police today used force to disperse a mob of college and university students who blocked vehicular traffic at Jawaharlal Nehru road here to protest against the rape of a five-year-old girl in Delhi.

The youths gathered at the main gate of Rajasthan University and tried to block the road which caused inconvenience for commuters, following which the mob was dispersed," SHO Gandhi Nagar Mukesh Chaudhary said.

No arrest was made in this connection, he added.
