Police warns against use of drones

The Mangluru city police have

warned private individuals against using drones illegally to capture the deserted scenes in the city and suburbs during the lockdown period.

In a press release here, city police commissioner P S Harsha said strict action would be taken against persons engaged in such activities.

He said Mangaluru is a sensitive area having a lot of vital installations and using a drone camera for any purpose strictly prohibited. The drones would be promptly seized and firm legal action taken against the guilty.

The commissioner also asked the media not to seek the service of drones.
