Policeman shot dead in Kulgam

Militants today shot dead a constable in Kulgam district of south Kashmir when he was on his way home, police said.

Gowhar Ahmad, posted in Shopian district, was shot near the Kanjikulla bridge in Kulgam, a police official said.

The official said Ahmad was riding a motorcycle to his home in Yaripora area of Kulgam.
