Postal department employee booked for fraud

A postal department employee was booked for allegedly duping a number of depositors, who complained that their money was not deposited in the accounts.

Assistant postmaster Inderpal Sahota, posted at Khanna, was found involved in cheating in a departmental inquiry after which a case was lodged against him, police said today.

They said raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
