Powers of two tehsildars divested after irregularities

Deputy Commissioner, Gurgaon, P C Meena, has withdrawn the powers of Sohna and Pataudi tehsildars (Sub-Registrar), Pankaj Setia and Rajender Singh respectively.

Meena took this decision after reviewing the record of Sohna and Pataudi tehsil offices, when the irregularities in registration of sale deeds of immoveable properties surfaced.

He had reviewed the computerisation of land records, entering pending mutations, registration of sale deeds of immoveable properties and other works of the two offices.
