Prashant Kumar takes charge as CFO of SBI

The country's largest lender State Bank of India Monday said Prashant Kumar has taken over the charge as the chief financial officer (CFO).

He has taken over the charge from Anshula Kant, who has now been elevated as managing director (stressed assets, risk and compliance).

Prior to this, Kumar was deputy managing director (HR) and CDO of the bank.

He has also worked as as DMD and chief operating officer (COO) of the bank. **************** Uber Eats offers insurance to delivery partners with Tata AIG *

Uber Eats, the food delivery network of global ride sharing app Uber, Monday announced a comprehensive insurance programme for delivery partners in the country in partnership with private sector insurer Tata AIG.

 

This programme insures Uber Eats delivery partners for up to Rs 5 lakh against accidental death and permanent disability, when they are on the road providing delivery services through the Uber Eats App.

The policy also provides cover of Rs 2 lakh against medical hospitalisation expenses and an outpatient cover of Rs 50,000. This insurance cover will be offered free of cost to delivery partners. ******************** Accenture to lead UTI AMC's digital transformation *

Global IT major Accenture Monday said it has won a two-year contract to lead UTI Asset Management Companys digital transformation.

Without disclosing the commercial details, UTIs acting chief executive Imtaiyazur Rahman termed the contract as a "strategic investment".

Third largest private sector lender Axis Bank today said it is launching an instant credit card for pre-approved customers.

Customers can check eligibility on the bank's app to obtain the credit card, which will be given without any joining fee or annual credit card fee as a launch offer, an official statement said. *************** Yes Bank ties up with IATA to launch IATA Easypay *

Midsize private sector lender Yes Bank has tied up with International Air Transport Association to launch the 'IATA Easypay' solution for over 2,500 travel agents in India.

The solution aims to increase cash flows in the airline industry for both airlines and IATA agents, and helps the lender deepen relationship with travel agents, a bank statement said.
