President arrives in Hyderabad

President Pranab Mukherjee arrived here from Delhi this evening.

He was received at the Begumpet airport by state Governor E S L Narasimham, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and his cabinet colleagues and other dignitaries after his arrival by a special IAF plane around 7.35 PM.

Mukherjee is scheduled to review the passing out parade of Indian Police Service (IPS) Probationers-2012 batch at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVP-NPA) tomorrow.

After the programme he will leave for New Delhi in the afternoon. During his visit here, the President will stay at the Raj Bhavan.
