Press club office bearers elected unopposed

Y J Sadiq of 'Dinakaran' and S Gurusamy of 'Sun TV', were unanimously elected as president and general secretary respectively of the Coimbatore Press Club (CPC).

While Martin Raja (Puthiya Thalamurai) and K T Murthy (Tamil Murasu) were elected as vice presidents, M Kannan (Threekathir) and R Premkumar (Thinaboomi) were elected unopposed as joint secretaries, a CPC release said today.

S D Subbu of Makkal Kural is the Treasurer, it said.

R Velusamy (Dinamalar CNS), T Vijay (Vikatan), A Subburaj (Times of India), V Pecchikumar (Dinakaran) and T Sujin Samuel Raj (Lotus News) were elected as Executive members, the release said.
