Prez leaves for Delhi after AP visit

President Pranab Mukherjee today left for New Delhi after his two-day visit to the state capital.

Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, his ministerial colleagues were among those who saw off the President at the Begumpet airport here.

Earlier, Mukherjee reviewed the passing out parade of Indian Police Service (IPS) Probationers-2012 batch at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVP-NPA).

Leaders of various parties from either side of the political divide met Mukherjee at the Raj Bhavan here last night and put forth their arguments for and against the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
