Prices of thoor dal, moong dal,
gram dal decreased and maida increased, while prices for the rest of the commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.
Gram dal today opened at Rs.8,800 a sharp fall of Rs.700 per quintal from Rs.9,500.

Thoor dal was down by Rs.300 per quintal to Rs.11,400 from Rs.11,700.
Moong dal was low by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.7,300 from Rs.7,500.
Maida (90 kg) was inceased by Rs.100 to Rs.2,700 from Rs.2,600.
Prices of urad dal,sugar wheat and sooji (90 kg) ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Tur Dal Rs 11,400, Urad Dal Rs 13,000, Moong Dal Rs 7,300, Gram Dal Rs 8,800, Sugar Rs 3,900, Wheat Rs.2,900 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,700 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
