Prince Michael Jackson cancels TV appearance

After the news of his sister Paris Jackson's hospitalization for a suicide attempt broke, Prince Michael Jackson I has bowed out of a scheduled appearance on highly rated German TV show.

The production team of 'Wetten, dass..?' is in contact with the 16-year-old actor's management, which canceled his trip to Europe.

"Under these circumstances, we perfectly understand that Prince Michael prefers to stay close to his family. We wish Paris the strength and the power to recover soon," said Silke Blomer, the representative.

Other guests on the show, to be aired Saturday evening, includes Pamela Anderson and Gerard Butler.

Paris, 15, was originally booked on the program for its summer edition filmed in Mallorca, Spain.
