Prisoner dies of cardiac arrest

A 64-year-old undertrial prisoner lodged at the district jail here died today allegedly after suffering a cardiac arrest, a jail official said.

The under trial prisoner, who was convicted in a murder case, suffered a cardiac arrest and died while on the way to a hospital, Ashok Verma, district jail superintendent said.
