Manali Petrochemicals today said production at its facilities were affected due to the excess rainfall that occurred last week in Chennai, while operations for the year would be impacted "significantly".
"The production at both the plants of the company remains affected since December 2 due to flooding and resultant power disruptions," the Chennai-based company said in a BSE filing.
The operations were expected to "recommence shortly" in a phased manner subject to resumption of normalcy in power supply and movement of materials.
"Consequently, the overall operations for the quarter and year will be impacted significantly," it said.
