Property dealer held for threatening man

A property dealer in east Delhi, who posed with firearms and posted his photos on a social networking site, has been arrested for threatening a Shastri Nagar resident, police said today.

Ravinder Kumar alias Titu, a former gangster, was arrested by police from his office at Rani Garden in Shastri Nagar area. A 7.65 MM pistol and a sword was seized from him, said Rishi Pal, DCP (east).

A complaint was lodged against Ravinder at Geeta Colony police station by a resident of New Lahore in Shastri Nagar for threatening him.

During interrogation Ravinder admitted that he had obtained the pistol from a friend and had also posted pictures of himself carrying the gun on Facebook, said the DCP.
 

Ravinder also said that previously he was a member of one Jaggu Pehlwan gang in Greater Noida that had dispersed after murder of the Pehlwan four years ago, police said.
