Property dealer shoots dead his children, wife, self

A 44-year-old property dealer here allegedly shot dead his two minor children and wife before taking his own life today, police said.

Avtar Singh Thind shot dead his son Gaurav (13), daughter Imanat (8) and wife Rupinder Kaur (41) at his Shalimar Bagh residence this morning using a revolver, they said.

He later shot himself dead, police said.

The reason behind his extreme step is yet to be ascertained, they said, adding that a case has been registered and investigations are on.
