Protest march, ASEAN summit trigger traffic snarls

Vehicular movement was affected in the capital in the morning hours due to protests at Jantar Mantar and near Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit's residence.

Later in the evening, areas around India Gate and Rajpath witnessed traffic jams as large number of people gathered there as part of the protest.

Movement of dignitaries here for India-ASEAN summit, which will begin from tomorrow, also added to traffic woes in central Delhi.
