AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi Monday demanded that police register a case against the management of a private school where a UKG student was allegedly raped last week by a supervisor in the institution.

Owaisi met city Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and requested him to transfer the case to Central Crime Station (CCS)a wing of the police here, and also sought seizure of all electronic evidence from the school.

In a tweet, the AIMIM leader said, "I requested @CPHydCity to transfer the case to CCS and all electronic evidence from this school should be seized,a case should be booked against school..."

The accused, Mohammed Jeelani, was arrested Saturday, police said.

The management of the school has condemned the incident and assured parents and guardians of 'uncompromising' safety of its students in future.

They school authorities also said they were cooperating with the investigations.
