Pulses held steady in thin trade

Quiet conditions prevailed at the wholesale pulses market today as prices generally moved in a limited range in scattered deals and pegged around at overnight levels.

Traders said adequate stocks position against scattered demand kept unaltered.

Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):

Urad Rs 7,600-9,200, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 8,100-8,200, Urad best Rs 8,200-8,700, Dhoya Rs 8,600-8,900, Moong Rs 5,100-5,800, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,600-6,000, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,200-6,700 and best quality Rs 6,700-6,900.

Masoor small Rs 5,700-5,900, bold Rs 5,750-5,950, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,150-6,650, best quality Rs 6,250-6,750, Malka local Rs 6,500-7,000, best Rs 6,600-7,100, Moth Rs 4,200-4,500, Arhar Rs 7,300, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 9,300-11,100.
 

Gram Rs 9,700-9,900, Gram dal (local) Rs 9,900-10,100, best quality Rs 10,200-10,300, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 4,100, Rajdhani Rs 4,100, Rajma Chitra Rs 6,000-6,850, Kabuli Gram small Rs 9,400-10,000, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,400-5,600, Peas white Rs 2,900-2,925 and green Rs 3,100-3,200.
