Punjab approves transfer policy for 2015

Punjab government today approved the general posting and transfer policy for officers and officials in the state for 2015.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has cleared a file in this regard this evening, an official spokesperson said.

According to the policy, the schedule for postings and transfers of officers and officials has been fixed from June 1 to June 30, 2015.

Badal directed all the departments to ensure that the process for the transfers must be completed within the stipulated time frame.
