Punjab Cong authorises AICC to decide LS candidates

Punjab Congress today unanimously authorised party chief Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi to take a final call on the names of candidates for the 13 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

AICC General Secretary and in-charge of Punjab, Shakeel Ahmed asked the members of the Congress election committee to submit their suggestions on candidates by January 29.

He said the meeting unanimously authorised Sonia and Rahul to take a final decision on candidates.
