Punjab fixes 8.7 pc interest on GPF, CPF

The Punjab government has fixed 8.7 per cent interest rate on General Provident Fund (GPF) and Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) for the financial year 2014-15.

Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson of the Finance Department said the state government employees could avail 8.7 per cent interest rate from April 2014 on GPF & CPF and other funds credited by them.
