Punjab Governor convenes Vidhan Sabha from Mar 24

Punjab governor VP Singh Badnore has convened the first session of the new Assembly from March 24.

A notification to this effect was issued by the Governor, an official spokesman said here.

It will be the first session of newly constituted Vidhan Sabha.

In the 117-member Assembly, Congress has 77 members, the Aam Aadmi Party 20, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) 15 and its ally BJP three and Lok Insaf Party two.
