Congress today said the SAD-BJP government in Punjab failed to control law and order situation and people were living under constant threat of organised criminal gangs in the state.
Addressing a meeting of party workers here, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Partap Singh Bajwa said reports of criminals striking at night in some parts of the state were disturbing.
Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal also holds the home portfolio and was fully responsible for the breakdown in law and order situation which was one of the main reasons behind investors not willing to invest in Punjab, he said.

"The state's economy is in shambles," he said accusing Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal of painting a gloomy picture of the state by making "false" statements.
