Punjab govt to give medical equipment to war disabled, widows

Punjab government has started a scheme to provide specialised medical equipment to war disabled, war widows and ex-servicemen.

The government will provide tricycle, tri-scooter, electric bed to war disabled, war widows, ex-servicemen and their wards or non-pensioner ex-serviceman who have disability of 60 per cent or more and their annual income is less than Rs 3 lakh, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Department of Defence Services Welfare, Virsa Singh Valtoha, said here today.
