Punjab government today said it will harness biogas CNG potential in the state by setting up one pilot plant in each district of the state.
"Punjab is moving towards the next level by fixing a target of setting up of at least one biogas CNG project in every district of the state," said an official spokesman.
"Such projects will not only create business opportunities for investors but also generate income for farmers by selling cattle dung which is used as raw material for generation of energy through biogas," he added.
