Punjab: Rs 7.74L looted from ATM

Unidentified miscreants today broke open an ATM of a private bank and decamped with Rs 7.74 lakh cash at Fatehgarh Panjhtoor village here, the police said.

After breaking into the ATM kiosk, five robbers, whose faces were covered, broke the machine and fled with the cash, they said.

CCTV cameras, installed at the ATM, recorded the incident, the police said.

The police have launched a manhunt to arrest the robbers, police said.
