Noted lawyer and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) candidate R K Anand today filed his nomination papers from Faridabad Lok Sabha Constituency.
Prominent INLD leaders like Ajay Chautala, Subhash Chowdhury, Jagdish Nayar, Rajinder Bisla, Nagender Bahadana and Sashibala Tewatia accompanied Anand as he went to the District Collector and Election Officer, Vijay Singh Dhaiya's office to sumit his nomination papers.
There are 16 lakh voters in Faridabad Lok Sabha seat which includes 2.5 lakh Punjabi voters.

"This constituency has received step-motherly treatment from all the previous governments...My aim is to make Faridabad the best city south of the national capital.
"I am quite familiar with the constituency and I have studied in Palwal college for sometime and have represented many Punjabi and other community clients in the Supreme Court and Delhi High court," said Anand who hopes to secure a major chunk of Punjabi, Jat, Gujjar and Brahmin votes.
