Railway technician dead

A technician died on duty today

after hit by an overhead steel sheet that fell on him at Jamalpur Railway workshop in Munger district of Bihar, a police officer said.

The victim, identified as K D Mandal, was working at the wagon repairing shop number two at Jamalpur Railway workshop when the overhead steel sheet fell on him, East Colony police station in-charge Deepak Kumar said.

Mandal (50) died on the spot, he said.
