Light to moderate rainfall continued to occur at most places of Himachal Pradesh, with monsoon activity remaining normal in the state.
The highest rainfall was recorded in Saloni at 56 mm, followed by Dehra Gopipur (55mm), Dharamshala (46.5 mm), Nagrota Surian (46 mm), Kheri (38.0 mm), Gohar (35.4 mm), Palampur (35 mm), Mandi (31.2 mm), Manali (30.8 mm), Tissa (28.2 mm), Bijahi (24.4 mm), Banjar (24.3 mm), Kangra Airport (23.1 mm), the Meteorological (MeT) Department said.
There was no appreciable change in the maximum and minimum temperatures in 24 hours.
However, the maximum temperatures were five to six degrees Celsius below the normal, whereas the minimum temperatures were one to two degrees Celsius below the normal in the state, it said.
The lowest temperature was recorded at 12.6 degrees Celsius in Manali, whereas the highest 28 degrees Celsius temperature in the state was recorded in Mandi.
