Rains expected towards evening

Sporadic spells of showers may bring respite to the residents of the national capital today, that has been reeling under intense humid conditions.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, with the maximum expected to be around 37 degrees Celsius.

The weatherman has predicted light rains and thundershowers in some areas of the city towards the evening and at night.

Humidity level was recorded at 84 per cent at 8.30 AM.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.9 degrees Celsius while the minimum settled at 28.1 degrees Celsius.
