Rains in east UP

Light to moderate rains and

thundershowers lashed parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours, the weather department said.

A MeT report said chief amount of rainfall was recorded in Balrampur 3 cm, Mankapur 2 cm, Bansdeeh, Turtipar, Basti, Ghazipur, Hata, Maharajganj, Mohamdabad 1 cm-each.

It has predicted dry weather for the next 24 hours in the state.
