Rains kept temperature at comfortable level in Patna and other parts of Bihar today even as state Weather office predicted one or two spells of rains or thundershowers in the next 24 hours.
Patna received 6.6 mm of rain, while Gaya recorded 0.6 mm of rainfall. Bhagalpur received 18.8 mm of rainfall and Purnea received 14.8 mm of rain.
Mercury in Patna registered a maximum temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius.
Maximum temperatures in Bhagalpur, Gaya and Purnea were 35.2, 31.7 and 35 degrees Celsius respectively, the weatherman said.
While rains have kept weather cool in Patna and other parts of the state, a total of 14 districts in proximity to Nepal are under flood due to heavy rains in Terai region of the Himalayan country.
