Rains lash Ratnagiri, disrupt traffic on Mumbai-Goa highway
Pre-monsoon showers lashed many parts of Ratnagiri district through the day, disrupting traffic on the busy Mumbai-Goa highway.
Areas like Rajapur, Sangmeshwar, Chiplun, Khed and Dapoli witnessed rains since morning, with few breaks.
A container-truck skidded off the road near Savarde, affecting the traffic, police said.
