Raj transport official caught taking bribe

A district transport officer was today caught red-handed by the officials of Anti Corruption Bureau of Rajasthan while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a village head.

DTO Daya Shankar had demanded the bribe from the sarpanch of Richada village in lieu of releasing his excavator machine which was seized some time back.

After verification of the complaint, the ACB laid a trap and caught the accused officer and arrested him.
