Maharashtra PWD minister and the NCP candidate from Nashik Lok Sabha constituency, Chhagan Bhujbal, today advised Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and MNS president Raj Thackeray to exercise restraint while criticising each other.
The estranged cousins should at least desist from talking about the familial issues, said Bhujbal, himself a former Shiv Sena leader.
Bhujbal said he and many others had affection for the Shiv Sena supremo, the late Bal Thackeray, and the two brothers should avoid raking up their domestic disputes, as there were many other issues on which they could target each other.
A wrangling is going on between the cousins ever since BJP tried to woo MNS to join the opposition alliance in Maharashtra but Shiv Sena opposed the move.
