The centre boasts a mini planetarium, a 3D theatre and other scientific models, besides galleries showcasing bio-medical revolution, fun science and astronomy.
Speaking on the occasion, Gehlot stressed upon creating interest among students for science, and said the centre will supplement formal teaching of science in educational institutions.
Union Culture Minister Chandresh Kumari and Rajasthan Minister of State for Science and Technology Rajkumar Sharma were also present on the occasion.
