Rajasthan Governor Margaret Alva and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today extended their greetings to the people on the eve of new year.
"This is a moment for us, as individuals and as a nation, to take stock of our achievements and chart out our future with optimism," Alva said in her message.
Raje appealed the people to work in unison for a "new and prosperous" Rajasthan, and said that her government would leave no stone unturned for making Rajasthan a leading state of the country.

She said that the state government has already taken up time-bound development plan and prepared a 60-day action plan for all the departments.
"We would move forward for integrated development of every section and every region," she said in her message.
