Blistering heat wave conditions that swept across Rajasthan today affected the normal life as temperature hovered around 41 to 44.6 degrees Celsius at many places in the state.
According to MeT office, Kota remained the hottest place with recording a maximum of 44.6 degrees C today, followed by the state Capital at 43.9 degrees C.
Churu, Barmer, Jodhpur, Ajmer also registered maximum of 43.5, 42.6, 42.4 and 42.2 degrees Celsius respectively, it said.
MeT office, in a forecast, said weather is likely to remain same during the next 24 hours.
