Rajnath to visit Lucknow on June 7

BJP national president Rajnath Singh would visit his parliamentary constituency Lucknow on June 7, for the first time after being sworn in as the Union Home Minister in Narendra Modi government.

"All preparations have been made to accord him a grand welcome by party leaders and workers," president of BJP's city unit Manohar Singh said in a statement.

Rajnath, who won from Lucknow Lok Sabha seat by trouncing Congress candidate Rita Bahuguna Joshi by a whopping margin of 2.72 lakh votes, was sworn in as the Union Home minster in Narendra Modi government on May 26.
