Ramakrishna math monk dead

Srikaranandaji Maharaj, one of the assistant general secretaries of Ramakrishna math and Mission, Belur, died after a massive heart attack at the Vidyapith premises here today.

He was 72.

A good speaker on Ramakrishna and Srima and Swami Vivekananda, he came to Purulia yesterday with the general secretary of Ramakrishna math and mission, Belur, Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj.

The monk's body was sent to Belur for the last rites.
