Ramoowalia's daughter gets plum post

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has appointed Amanjot Kaur Ramoowalia as the Chairman of District Planning Committee SAS Nagar, an official spokesman said here today.

Kaur is a general secretary of the woman wing of the Shiromani Akali Dal. She is the daughter of the senior SAD leader Balwant Singh Ramoowalia.

Yesterday, Chief Minister has accepted the resignation of Harbhajan Mann, from the post. The popular Punjabi singer had resigned from his post on December 18 last year.
