Rangasamy pays tributes at statue of Bharathiar

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today paid floral tributes at the statue of national Poet Subramania Bharathiar on the occasion of his 132nd birth anniversary.

Speaker V Sabapathy, Local Administration Minister N G Panneerselvam, Education Minister T Thiagarajan, legislators and delegates of various organisations were among those who paid homage at the statue in the park named after the poet.

Functionaries of the opposition Congress including AICC General Secretary and former Union Minister V Narayanasamy and PCC president A V Subramanian also garlanded the statue.
