A man, accused of raping his teenaged daughter and pushing her into flesh trade, was awarded 10 years of imprisonment by a lower court here.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 75,000 on him.
According to the prosecution, the accused had first raped his 14-year-old daughter in April 2009 at their house in nearby Paravoor and later took her to several places and different people.
The additional sessions court also sentenced Aneesh, another accused in the case, to 10 years of imprisonment.
Omana, a middle woman, was sentenced to seven years jail term in the case registered in connection with the rape of the minor girl, who was sexually exploited by at least 100 men over a period of time.
Both the accused have been directed to remit a fine of Rs 75,000 each.
The court, however, acquitted the victim's mother and two others in the case.
The court had earlier awarded the victim's father seven years of imprisonment and Rs 50,000 fine in another case registered in connection with the sex scam.
