Rapist killed by victim's mother

The mother of a five-year-old allegedly killed a man for raping her daughter, police said today.

After seeing her daughter writhing in pain on Saturday, the woman - in her mid-30s - killed Arjun Tamba, 30, at Hatiya yesterday, a police official said.

The woman has been arrested.
