One of the
six inmates, who escaped from a jail here, was arrested today by the para-military forces, a senior CRPF official said.
Somra Hansda was arrested under Chowka police station in Sareikela-Kharsawan district following a tip-off, CRPF Commandant R K Pandey said here.
Three out of the six inmates, who had escaped from the Sareikela jail on August 11, 2011, were Maoists, he said, adding Hansda was among the fleeing rebels.
Four grenades, four detonates, a pistol and a bullet were seized from his possession, the Commandant added.
