Refined palmolein firmed up further in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to persistent demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, linseed oil, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
Among the edible segment, refined palmolein rose by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 459 from Tuesday's closing of Rs 457. However, Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,100 per 10kg.
Castorseed bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil closed unaltered at Rs 4,150 per 100kg, Rs 860 per 10kg and Rs 785 per 10kg respectively.
